This is a perfect smoothie for those of you who love bananas like me. I eat bananas like I’m a monkey and like they are going out of style! Every time I get a smoothie somewhere and there is an option for banana I will get it but then I am often disappointed because it is the fake banana flavor and it just isn’t the same as my homemade banana smoothies. For those of you who don’t like bananas I wouldn’t advise you try it because you probably wouldn’t like it. It can be a breakfast a mid day snack or a late night snack it will cover it all.

I’m also the type of person that likes my smoothies more of a milk shake consistency, so I don’t often add to much ice but for all of you out there that like a good old slushy type smoothie you can add lots of ice.
Now lets get into the ingredients and things you will need to make this smoothie.
Ingredients
* medium banana
* Greek yogurt
* whole milk
* almond butter
* maple syrup
* chia seeds
* ice
The tools you will need is just one a blender to blend it all together.

Details
The instructions are fairly simple all you have to do is put everything in a blender and blend away.
Then once it’s blended pour it into a cup and sip until it is completely empty, so like i said fairly simple to make.
Extra pointers
Greek Yogurt – I also personally like to use the Greek yogurt that says USDA organic on it and doesn’t have added sugar because it is just better for you that way.
Almond butter – The almond butter as well I try to get the USDA organic with no other additives in it because some will have seed oils and it is just best to stay away from them in my opinion.
Maple syrup – We get our maple syrup from a friend of ours that does maple syrup but if you are buying it just make sure it don’t have any additives.
Chia seeds – We also try to get the USDA organic in these as well.
Milk – Our family uses whole milk because it is better for you. We get ours at a local store that sells it more fresh but if you can’t just again get the one that has USDA organic on.

handful of ice or as much as you like
