Cottage Cheese And Pineapple Cheese Sandwich

Do you like cottage cheese and pineapple? If you do then you are going to love this recipe just like me! It is such a light and flavorful meal, side or snack.

  If you are sceptical about all these ingredients together. Well don’t be if you love each one of these give it a try it will definitely surprise you! The best part of the sandwich is the sourdough bread so I highly recommend using that if you make it. It really adds that extra spice to it.

 Even better it is super easy to make and can be a great lunch when in a time crunch! I could definitely eat it in repeat that’s for sure.

    Anyways lets get into what you will need and how to make it!

 

                                Ingredients you will need……

        slice of sourdough bread

        American cheese

        Avocado

        Pineapple

        Spinach

        salt

        cottage cheese

        ketchup

        pepper

        lemon pepper

        garlic salt

 

                    Instructions…

          Step one: Cut up half of an avocado into medium pieces and also cut up your pineapple as well. Then put it in a pan and fry them together for a little bit till the avocado is getting soft then add your  spinach once the avocado is softer.

                Step two: While your avocado and pineapple are frying you can butter a slice of bread cut into two halves and put it on the pan to fry until both sides are slightly golden brown and a little crispy.  Then put your two slices of cheese on and let on till it is melted.

                             Step three:  Once all your stuff is done you can put the cottage cheese in a little bowl and add your seasonings and stir a little then you can put the avocado, pineapple, and spinach on top of the cheese. Then put the cottage cheese on that. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 slice sourdough bread 

  • 2 pieces American cheese

  • half an avocado

  • 2 Tbsp pineapple

  • few spinach leaves

  • pinch of salt

  • cottage cheese sauce
  • 2 Tbsp cottage cheese

  • 1 tsp ketchup

  • pinch of pepper

  • pinch of garlic salt

  • pinch of lemon pepper

Directions

  • First cut all your avocado and pineapple and put it in a pan with a little bit of butter and fry till avocado is a little soft. While doing that slice your bread in half and butter it and fry it in the pan as well till it is golden brown on both sides and a little crispy.

  • Then once the avocados are a little soft add the spinach and sprinkle salt and let fry till the spinach is a little shriveled up. 

  • Once your bread is crispy you can put the cheese on and let it melt. Also then you can put your cottage cheese, ketchup and seasonings in a bowl and mix them together to form your sauce.

  • After everything is fried you can then put the avocado mixture on top of the cheese and then put your sauce on and there you go you have a sandwich!
