Do you love banana bread like I do? Well then you have come to the right place this banana bread doesn’t stay around in our household it is normally gone within a week. If you are gluten free don’t fear you are covered as well!
It’s the perfect thing to eat with tea or coffee in the morning, in the afternoon, or even for a bedtime snack! My mom loves it to eat with her coffee.
The best part of this bread is the chocolate when it is melted it and fresh out of the oven it is gooey and perfect. It adds something a little sweet to the bread and just makes it 10 times better.

Now let us get into the ingredients, supplies, and instructions so you can make it too.
Ingredients:
Gluten free Measure for Measure flour – this is the flour we like to use best in our household because it is less potent then almond flour.
Baking powder – This helps the bread to have a more airy texture and also helps it rise.
Salt – I don’t think I need to say much here other then salt makes anything better because it brings out flavors. Also our family uses himalayan salt because it is better then just table salt.
Ground ginger – I used this because someone in my family is allergic to cinnamon so this made a great replacement.
Ripe bananas – This is the most important part of the whole recipe. It is the perfect thing to do with your old spotted bananas instead of throwing them out.
Greek yogurt – This takes the place of butter in a recipe by helping combine it together and adding a good source of fat and protein.
Maple syrup – This is the perfect natural sweetener for anything you want to make sugar free. Also it has many health benefits as well.
Eggs – These help combine it together and also they help to keep it moist as well.
Dark Chocolate chips – The most important part in my opinion and the thing I look forward to in every bite!

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup Gluten free Measure for Measure flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 cup mashed banana ( 3 - 4 bananas )
1/4 cup and 2 Tbsp Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp maple syrup
2 eggs
2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
Turn your oven on to 350. Combine the dry ingredients ( flour, baking powder, salt, and ground ginger ) in a bowl and set aside.
Next get another bowl and put the wet ingredients in it ( mashed banana, greek yogurt, maple syrup, and eggs ) and mix it all together. Then add your dry ingredients and mix until just so combined ( don't over mix or your bread will be dense and chewy ).
Add your chocolate chips and fold with a spatula. Then get your bread pan and oil it well. Then put the dough in and bake for 40 - 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out fairly clean.
When it is done take it out of the pan and set it on a rack to cool then cut and enjoy! If you don't eat it all put it in a bag and store in the fridge and warm it up when you want to eat it.
