Healthy energy balls

   Do you love snacks as much as I do? Well then you have found a perfect snack. It is the perfect combination of sweet and salty and will take away that annoying craving you have. It is also just the right size for when you have already eaten a big meal but are craving that one other thing.

     Also it is perfect for lunches and is definitely a better option then oreos or some other store bought cookie with loads of unnecessary added ingredients. It’s also a perfect snack for those after school kiddos of yours.

   So lets get into what you will need to make these.

 Ingredients
* almond butter
* peanut butter
* maple syrup
* vanilla
* rolled oats 
* quick oats
* coconut flakes
* flaxseeds
* cranberries
* raisins
* chia seeds
* dark chocolate chips

  Tools you will need.
* bowl 
* measuring cups
* measuring spoons
* a spoon 

  The best way to keep these the longest is to put them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond butter

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup 

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats ( to make GF use GF oats)

  • 1/4 cup quick oats ( to make GF use GF oats)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds

  • 2 Tbs canberries

  • 2 Tbs raisins 

  • 1 Tbs chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

  • mix the first four ingredients together until it is a creamy substance. Then add the other ingredients and stir till combined.

  • Then put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it easier to from the balls. Once it has been in the refrigerator you can make the balls into a little bigger then a Tbs size. IT should make 20 - 22 balls. TO keep them the best put them in an airtight container and put them in the refrigerator. They should keep for 2 weeks.
