Yummy Gluten | Dairy | and Egg Free | Meatballs

  You are probably wondering what is left to put in these meatballs if they are Gluten, Dairy, and egg free. Well you would be surprised at what all is in here! They are so good with the onions and garlic it gives it a salty taste and makes you want to keep eating them.

   I made these because I wanted a meatball my sister could eat there just never was one I could find she could eat. Until  I came across something similar to this recipe but it still had some things she couldn’t eat so I changed it a little more and got this recipe.

   Some reason I really like meat balls. There is just something about them that I like. It wasn’t really something that we ate growing up but I recently started to make them and found a love for them.
   We usually eat ours over some rice but you could also do mashed potatoes if you wanted. I will put the rice recipe we use on here as well for you.

  So let’s get into the details now !
            Ingredients you will need:
* 1 lb ground beef
* salt and pepper
* garlic powder
* parsley
* avocado oil
* garlic cloves
* onions
* chicken broth
* coconut aminos
* arrow root
* water
          Tools you will need:
 *A skillet
 *oven
*  baking sheet
 *measuring cups and measuring spoons
* parchment paper
* a spoon
          The steps you take:
First: You will want to chop your onions in chunk size. Then after that put your ground beef, seasoning, and oats in a bowl and mix with your hands until well combined. Then put them in the oven at 400 for 15 minutes.
Second: While your meatballs are cooking you can start to make your sauce. The first thing you do is put the avocado oil and the onions and cook till the onions are golden brown. Then you can add your garlic cloves. I don’t cook the garlic long before adding the broth or it will burn. Then you can add your coconut aminos and seasonings as well and cook for a little while. Then once it is almost boiling you can put your 2 Tbsp of arrowroot and 2 Tbsp of cold water into the broth and wisk it to make it a gravy consistency.
Third: Once your meatballs have cooked for 15 minutes you can add them to your gravy stuff and let cook for a little bit then serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
The rice recipe I use is 3 cups water, boil that and then add 1 1/2 cup rice, 2 Tbsp avocado oil, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Cook it till all the water is gone.

   If you make this meatball recipe I would love to hear from you all what you thought of it so comment down below!
 So without further addo lets get to making it.

  • 1 tsp parsley

  • Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil

  • 3 medium garlic cloves

  • 3/4 cup chopped onions

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 1/4 cup chicken broth

  • 2 Tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp parsley

  • 2 Tbsp arrowroot

  • 2 Tbsp cold water

  • Rice Recipe
  • 3 cups water

  • 1 1/2 cup rice

  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

  • First you will want to cook your rice so it's done. So put your water in a pot and cook on high till it comes to a boil then once that is boiling add your rice, avocado oil, pepper, and salt and turn down to low. Cook until all the water is practically gone.

  • Then you can chop your onions. After they are chopped you can make your meatballs. Put the meat, seasonings and oats in a bowl and mix with your hands till well combined. Once it is combined you can make the balls i usually make them about 2 tbsp worth of meat. It should make 18. Then put them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and stick them in the oven at 400 for 15 minutes.

  • While your meatballs are cooking you can start to make your sauce. Put the avocado oil and onions in a pan and fry till the onions are golden brown once they are mince your garlic into the mixture. Don't cook the garlic to long because it could burn so add the broth fairly quickly. Then once you add the broth you can put the coconut aminos and seasoning and cook for a little while.

  • You can then combine your arrowroot and cold water together and stir. Then you can add it to your sauce when it is about to boil and use a wisk and wisk it till it is a gravy substance.

  • Then once your meat balls have cooked for 15 minutes you can add them to the sauce and let them cook for a little bit and then serve over your rice.
